I finally went through a bundle of pregnancy material that mom had saved.  It turned out to be more interesting than I thought it would be.  This first booklet was from Carnation from 1965.  It had a rather pleasant-looking cover.

Then I looked inside and realized the cover model was based on an actual woman.  Hubba hubba.
