These spells are all quite rare. Wizards possessing them will do so secretly and not share, sell, or trade them (especially as many are forbidden). Tracking down these sort of spells from vague rumors should be adventures unto themselves. Usually only members of the Council (10th level wizards) can hope to cast them, and even then it's still a risky proposition.
6TH-LEVEL
WIZARD SPELLS (DC 18 to cast)
Antimagic
Field: Negates
magic within 10 ft. Encounter. (Will Sv)
Chain
Lightning: 10
+ Spellcheck electrical damage + Stun 1 rd + Knocked Down + Two
secondary bolts 4 + Spellcheck damage + Stun 1 rd. All three bolts may be aimed
at different targets. (Ref Sv ½ damage) Medium range main bolt, Short range,
secondary.
Contingency: Sets trigger condition for
another spell. Permanent, but only 1 at time.
Create
Undead: Creates 1
Ghoul or Wight. Can permanently control
up to 4 HD/level of undead total. Ceremony
spell. Forbidden
spell. Requires a human sacrifice (willing or unwilling) and 100 gp/HD in
materials.
Dispel
Magic, Greater: As
Dispel Magic, but +10 on check. (Caster Check)
Flesh
to Stone: Turns
subject creature into statue. Permanent. Forbidden
spell. (Will Sv, Caster Check to dispel). Reverse spell (Stone to Flesh)
automatically dispels it.
Geas/Quest: Lasts 1 day/level or until
discharged. (Will Sv to victim, Caster Check to dispel)
Guards
and Wards: Array
of magic effects protect area. A Guard only alerts caster when triggered. A Ward can also be charged with a lower level
spell (another spell is cast on the Ward with a separate Spellcheck) that
triggers every time it is activated. The
spell might take the form of an attack or an observation-type spell. Ceremony
spell. Permanent. 1 in effect/level.
Saves allowed if Ward effect causes damage.

Heroism,
Greater: Gives +4
bonus on attack rolls, saves, skill checks; immunity to fear,

Legend
Lore: Lets you

a creature (usually lacks magical abilities). Requires presence of creature to

Incendiary
Cloud: 30' sq
cloud deals 10 + Spellcheck fire damage/rd. Lasts 1 turn. (Ref Sv ½ damage on
initial casting) Medium range. Note that this spell does have the capacity to
set off flammable objects in the area and go out of control quickly.
Irresistible
Dance: Forces
subject to dance, until dispelled or they collapse for 1 turn. (DC 18 Fort Sv
each turn). (Will Sv, Caster Check to dispel)
Mind
Blank: Subject is
immune to mental/emotional magic and scrying. 1 turn/level
Polar
Ray: Two
separate attacks of 10 + Spellcheck cold damage + Stun 1 rd + dropped to last
in Initiative each. Can be directed at different targets. (Ref Sv ½ damage)
Medium range.
Polymorph
Any Object:
Changes any subject into anything else. Requires their presence (and a Sympathy if against a being). Permanent.

Protection

Screen: Illusion hides 10' area from

Sunburst: Blinds all within 10 ft. (Fort
Sv), also deals 10 + Spellcheck fire damage + 1d8 continuing damage until
extinguished. (Ref Sv ½ damage) Medium
range. Note that this spell does have the capacity to set off flammable objects
in the area, especially on successful saves, and go out of control quickly.
Temporal
Stasis: Puts
subject into suspended animation. Permanent until dispelled or
discharged.

Projection:
Projects you and companions onto Astral Plane. 1 day/level, 1 person/level. Ceremony spell.
Etherealness: Travel to Ethereal Plane with
companions. 1 day/level, 1 person/level. Ceremony
spell.
Gate: Connects two planes for travel or
summoning. 1 rd/level. Forbidden spell. Ceremony
spell. A Permanency spell can make this permanent, but will require certain
words and/or lunar phases (or whatever) to open it.
Hold
Monster, Mass: As
Hold Monster, but all within 30 ft. (Will Sv)
Mage's
Disjunction:
Disenchants magic items (Caster Check) and supernatural artifacts (DC 18 Caster
Check). Ceremony
spell. Forbidden spell. Permanent
Meteor
Swarm: Four
targeted exploding spheres each 12 + Spellcheck impact damage + Stun 1 rd. (Ref
Sv 1/2 damage) Long range.
Power
Word Kill:
Magically kills one creature with 100 hp or less. Forbidden
spell. (Will Sv)
Shapechange: Transforms you into any natural
creature. Takes on creature’s stats,
except for Int, Wis, and Will Sv. 1
hr/level or 1 Encounter if in combat.
Soul
Bind: Traps newly
dead soul to prevent resurrection. Forbidden spell. Ceremony
spell. Permanent until dispelled or discharged.
Summon
Monster IX*: Calls
9HD extraplanar creature to fight for you. Encounter. Ceremony

Time
Stop: You act
freely for 1d4+1 rounds. Cannot attack
others or destroy anything in this state, but can alter them.
