This was the beginning of my scanning troubles with this scrapbook before I went back and took pictures of it. I'm not sure what this article is being held together with, but it was really fragile.
Mom had Elvis' military movements tracked on a calendar. I'm intrigued by that little article on the left. There's part of an article talking about the Brooklyn baseball club (the Dodgers). In the center, there's an article about the British "Elvis." I've never heard of him either.
Elvis kisses some waitresses in an Arkansas diner on his way to Fort Chaffee. Maybe this was what mom was tracking, since she was living in Arkansas.
