Adventure Synopsis
This adventure is set in Fantasy Ireland.  Undead creatures have suddenly started coming out of the Formorian (Humanoid) lair of Keeper Hill and are terrorizing the county.  The Characters, in their role as the King’s Men, are called upon to stop them.  After meeting with an emissary of the Formorians, they are apprised that the undead appear to have been released from a haunted area on purpose to disrupt an important meeting that was being held at Keeper Hill.  Once inside, the Characters discover a tangled web of conflicting agendas between the trapped inhabitants and various interlopers capitalizing on the chaos.  Dealing with this threat will require nearly unprecedented cooperation between the Sons of Mil (humans) and the Formorians and others.

Artifacts: Anime Sketches

I was a pretty big Anime fan (as detailed here.)

Gotta start with the girl who started it all for me: Ladies and Gentlemen, Miss Lynn Minmei!  From Robotech or Macross, of course.

Nagisa here is from Iczer-1.  I used to own a movie book of OVA #3.  It was pretty cool, but all in Japanese, of course.

I also used to have several issues of Newtype from Japan.  Once again, they were all in Japanese, so I can't identify who I was drawing from the magazine here.

Haruhiko Mikimoto was Minmei's father, or rather character designer.  Afterward, he did a comic for Newtype called Marionette Generation.  Beautiful to look at, but the later translated volumes I bought, had little in the way of story.  Strong characters though.  This is Kozue.

This is the comic book version of Nike from Appleseed.

I bought Appleseed Ex Machina last year used and have watched and enjoyed it several times.  This is Hitomi from the movie.

Mai, the Psychic Girl was one of the original translated manga brought here to the US.  The excellent artwork was one of the main good points.  The other was our plucky, super-powered heroine, Mai.

Xenon came along shortly after Mai.  It was one of my favorites.  It was about a high school student who'd been unwillingly turned into a cyborg by an evil corporation.  Mechanized violence ensued.  It ended kinda disappointingly vague, but that's Japanese sci-fi for you.  This is Asuka's main love interest, Sonoko.

This is Mylene from Macross 7, which I have not seen.  She's Max and Miriya's daughter, supposedly.  (Everyone knows Dana and Maia are their actual daughters.)  The hair coloring here is probably all wrong.

Lastly, a little mash up of Gen 13 and Evangelion.  I had a fully colored version that got donated to a local comic book store.

Sketches: Personal

These are some sketches of some girls I actually know to some degree.

Ms. A is a co-worker, who I don't know very well, but I've found her to be a good sketch subject.

Ms. B is a friend.

Ms. E was another co-worker.

Ms. J is also a former co-worker.  I miss her.

Ms. M.  Had a friend who was interested in her.

Ms. R.  She's a sweetheart.

Ms. Y I had a rather powerful attraction to.  Actually, still have.  It's a good thing I have no idea where she is now.

Ms. T I went out with briefly.  Yes, she was beautiful.

Sketches: Various Models

Admittedly, I can't remember who I was drawing in the first two sketches, probably ad models.  The third one is from an Al Buell sketch.  He always drew such happy women.  Lastly is my favorite Playboy model, Tawnni Cable.  However, in this case, it's not her centerfold, it's a personal picture from her bio.  I used this picture as a mental image for a story character, Tilly.  I haven't been able to get the story to work yet, but I remain hopeful.

Sketches: Comic Characters

I've posted several Archie-related sketches at the Archie fan forum.  This one of Betty is my favorite.

Arwyn and Cassidy from Sojourn.  Not sure about the story, but Greg Land's artwork is inspirational.

Ah, who wasn't obsessed with Death in the 90's?  Neil Gaiman's best move: Death personified as a cute, perky, goth chick.

And then you have her modern day successor, Harley, the cute, psychotic punk clown.

Err... Forgot where this is from.

And a couple of sketches of Wonder Woman.
