Postcards From the Edge: Mom's Family Cards 63

This Oklahoma windmill postcard is unfortunately a duplicate from an earlier post, but with a different message on the back.  This was actually one of the more recent cards in mom's collection.

The Meetinghouse at Old Sturbridge Village, Sturbridge, Massachusetts.  I dig Colonial villages.  I'm a sucker for tri-corner hats.

Continental Divide, Colorado.  One of mom's friends sent this from a trip to Colorado.  She was  apparently visiting around the mountains and seeing old mining towns.

Lastly, here's a card from Aunt Judy and her family from Walt Disney World.  She writes to Grandma, "Just about that many people there, too."

A beautiful view of Mount Rainier and Tipsoo Lake, Washington.

Vancouver, BC, Canada.  The lights on the mountain are a row of chairlifts.  Note the Canadian stamp.

Big Spring Inn, Neosho, Missouri.  This is a vintage postcard, but unfortunately, doesn't have a year on the postmark.

Another view of the Grand Coulee Dam, Washington.

Bethlehem, Israel.  Regrettably, not much details from this trip.  Note the Israeli postage stamp.

Kenmore Square, Boston, Massachusetts.  The tall building is the Prudential Building, which was new at the time.

La Plaza Principal de Cozumel, Mexico.  Dianna and Woody went south of the border for Thanksgiving.  "Weather is beautiful.  Woody says the girls are too."  Woody lived dangerously.

The Herbert C. Bonner Bridge, the Outer Banks, North Carolina.

The Diamonds Restaurant, Villa Ridge, Missouri.  "The World's Largest Roadside Restaurant serving over a million people a year."

Bodie Lighthouse, The Outer Banks, North Carolina.

Gladys Porter Zoo, Brownsville, Texas.  Should a zoo have an elephant head mounted over the entrance?

The airport at Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
