These newspaper tabloids love the King. 




Grizzard talks about trying to imitate Elvis' look when he was a kid.


An El Paso commentator writes about Elvis.  First, he compares his own life to the King.  Then, he postulates that Jim Paul is actually Elvis.  Paul was the owner of the El Paso Diablos Double A team.  He was one of the most innovative minor league owners ever.  Most of the fun stuff you see and get at games today, beyond the games themselves, he pioneered.  Paul had to do whatever it took to get people to Dudley Field, which was a dump in a poor part of town.

I think this commentary was written about the Y2K crisis.  It all seems so quaint now.
