The Elvis Collection: Second 50's Scrapbook 6

Here's a lot of F.C. (Fan Club) clippings.  Elvis was almost rendered headless on the cropping on the page.  These Fan Club members include their addresses to start their local club chapters.

At the bottom, Elvis and Pat Boone are compared as popular singers.  The comparison involves James Dean and Marlon Brando.  It's a bit of a tortured analogy.

The article in the upper right encourages Country-Western singers to go Rock and Roll to "kill" this style of music with oversaturation.

The picture features two teen girls with "Elvis Presley" haircuts.  (Sideburns?)  The bottom left has a poem out of Irish mythology.  I didn't expect that in here.  (I did write about Tir na N’Og briefly in my Irish D&D RPG setting.)

Teen girl in Washington DC, daughter of a Uruguayan diplomat, likes Ike, the Cha-Cha, and Elvis (and her poodle).

Bottom left, Harry Belafonte's calypso music is overtaking Elvis in popularity.
