Postcards from the Edge: Blatant Commercialization 11

I saved the most interesting for last in this section.  Here's a 1983 postcard promoting MTV back when they played music videos.  (That joke is so tired.  I apologize.)  Anyway, it's some fun 80's memorabilia.  My parents were un-swayed.  I sent my high school years deprived.

     

Here's a 1997 postcard from QVC promoting a broadcast from Las Cruces, New Mexico.  That's quite a rig.

Lastly, here's a postcard promoting the Rock Lane Lodge near Branson, Missouri.  I'm not sure when this was mailed, but I wouldn't mind being some place where you could get Filet Mignon for $4.75.  Check out the other prices.
