The article in the upper right folds out for the next two images. It's a pretty vicious hit piece. It describes a performance as "group masturbation." And, it ends with the quote, "It's so bad . . . It can't endure indefinitely." Was mom presenting both sides of a controversial issue? Or did she not read it?
Once again, Elvis is "The Cat." The article is from a magazine called
Cowboy Songs. Clearly whatever the name of the magazine, they were going to hop on that bandwagon.
Check out the small article: Iran bans Rock and Roll. This was back when the Shah was running the country, not the Ayatollahs.
Oh what a tease. That Elvis bubble gum package is empty. No idea what happened to those cards. I'd have to bet they'd be valuable.
